I am Jill

About Me...

I have been a seeker from a young age.  Since childhood, I have been interested in how to look at the hard stuff, the shadows.  One of my strengths is listening!  I love to witness others and listen to what they are saying as well what they may not be saying.  As I build my capacity to listen and witness myself, I build my capacity to do that for others more deeply.  In my seeking, I have explored many paths, teaching high school mathematics then questioning education systems when I had my own children; being a delivery driver; learning about birth and birth support; learning about homeopathy, herbalism and nutrition; exploring what it means to support people in the death process; and learning about different energy healing modalities.

I am grateful to my parents for giving me life as well as the strengths and gifts that came through them.  I am grateful to my teachers for what each one has given me in my journey.  I completed a Family Constellations facilitator training with the Hellinger Institute of Toronto.  It expanded my vision and ability to take my parents and ancestors. Learning about Family Constellations has shown me that I have been carrying things for my family system that are not mine.  I feel that learning Family Constellations and participating in many Constellations as a representative, observer, and facilitator has shifted my ability to take in life.  I am profoundly grateful for this work.  The training that I received in Family Constellations was focused on staying true to Bert Hellinger's teachings, the founder of this work.  To learn more, please join a workshop, experience a constellation.  (A short, succinct book about Family Constellations is Family Constellations by Joy Manné, PhD.)

In doing birth doula trainings, I have also come to have a deep appreciation for using Rebozo (a traditional Mexican cloth) in a relaxation process for people and using it for Closing the Bones ceremony for women in their postpartum.

I have come to appreciate the strength I find in being responsible for my own path and journey.  We get to find our way through the interconnectedness.  We are walking along side one another.  I am committed to doing my inner work and committed to support those who chose to work with their family systems.
